Creative Longford

Creative Longford was formed when a group of local crafters came together in Ardagh Heritage and Creativity Centre last August. We are a not-for-profit support network for craftspeople in County Longford and its surroundings. At present we are accepting members and planning our official launch in 2014.

Vision

Our vision is for the Creative Longford group to come together in a supportive environment to aid members to progress with their craft. Skill sharing in the areas of product development, applying for grant aid, marketing, getting the best out of social media, customer service, trade show participation, photography etc. will be central to the group. We will bring together knowledge so each crafter feels confident in themselves and their product, equipped to get the best out of various events organised throughout the year.

What members can expect from Creative Longford:

Group Insurance and the benefits from same; Branding; Online and offline marketing; Inclusion of photos and details in a brochures; Inclusion of products in group stands at local and national craft fairs and permanent spaces including the Craft Gallery in Ardagh Heritage and Creativity Centre; Monthly network support meetings with group members sharing knowledge and skills with each other; Access to funding for future projects; Participation in the launch in 2014 which we intend to be covered by as much publicity as possible.
